The Birds and I

I am a monkey,
The onlooker,
I can only watch you.
Flying ,my dear birds,
I can jump from branch
To branch and also
I can dance.
That’s the way
So I am.

I am the peacock,’
I spread my wings,
I dance,
I make myself happy,
I make you also happy,
I can fly,but not very high,
That’s the way
So am I.

I am an eagle,
I have very sharp eye-sight,
I can observe,
Even a little rat or snake,
From a long distance,
I fly down,catch and
Have my prey,
That’s the way ,
So I am.

I am the duckling,
But see me,
I am beautiful,
I am glad as I am,
I can swim,
I do walk like dancing,
That’s the way,
So am I.

My ducklings walk.
In front of me,
I love them,
I watch them,
I am happy.
I care more for their
Safety.
That’s the way,
So I am.

I fly,fly and fly,
I am the sea-gull,
I am small but
I can cross any sea
Or ocean,
I think,I can,
So can I.
